Can I avoid tolls/highways only on some legs of a route?
For driving routes, you can set avoidances individually for each leg of your route, by disabling “Use for default routes” on the “Route” screen > Route Profile.*
Then, any options you enable (Avoid Highways, etc.) can be chosen on the map for each leg of your route. For example, on the map you can select the first pin of any leg, then select the ALT button on its Name/ETA popup, to show alternate routes to the next pin. Then, select the alternate route avoiding highways (same highway icon as in your Route Profile). Select “Done”, and only that leg will use the “Avoid Highways” route.
* The “Use for default routes” option is not available for RV routes.
